About Us

Glasgow Sling Library is a not for profit social enterprise that was co-founded in 2008 by parents who were passionate about babywearing. There were no sling hiring services at the time so we started one!

Since then, our organisation has grown and we now provide babywearing, reusable nappy education and general parenting support for families across Glasgow.

We are the go-to destination for all things parenting related in the city. Families can hire carriers and nappy kits from us, ‘trying before they buy’ to help them find what works  for their family, baby and lifestyle.  Our trained babywearing consultants provide support and guidance to them along with any other sling or cloth nappy matters.

At our base in Easterhouse we provide support groups for infant feeding, additional needs children, and for general parenting queries.

We have an open, non-judgmental ethos and we will never turn anyone away who is in need.
